Sonia introduced me to a Weight loss for busy physician podcast. I am not a physician but listening to a podcast did give me some guidance, but there was no accountability, so I kept falling back to my old habits of food indulgence and never paid attention to why I was unable to lose any weight. I am so grateful to Sonia, who introduced me to her program. She has helped me to focus on the reasons why I am indulging in food even though I am not hungry. Being aware of your thoughts and not trying to mask your emotions (good or bad) is the key. Sonia's WLDP program has helped me tremendously to deal with a few of the challenges I have had for years. I love traveling, but it always came with weight gain for me. With every vacation, I would gain an average of 10 pounds and then would spend months afterward trying to get that off. As time went by, it became even harder to lose weight, and working out would not help with the weight loss. This program has given me the tools that work like magic in every scenario. Now when I travel, my mindset has changed in many ways. I have become more mindful of what I am eating and know that food is for fuel and there is no point in overeating or just eating because food is available everywhere. I now make efforts to plan my meals ahead of time. I have become less focused on food, and now at various events, I find myself more present and enjoy socializing with my family and friends.
